Seven Year Anniversary

Another year’s gone by. It is another July anniversary of TheFreeRangeNaturist.org.

Seven years have rolled on since I got fed up and decided to take a stand about some issues of body freedom and started this website.  Those seven years have documented highlights, passed on passing thoughts and accumulated bits of some kind of personal evolution.

I had notes from around 100 old stories at the start, which I had written for The Secret Naturist Society Forum. These had been mostly written during the previous seven years. I figured with that and a few new posts, I should run through a year, or two. I’d make my point and that would be that. Maybe I’d leave the result out there as a monument, or a “how to” book of free ranging liberation. Maybe, it could change a few lives, make them more. Maybe, it would take off, changing many lives. How would I know?

I soon found myself not only refurbishing those old posts, but DF and I were having a great deal of fun with the project.  As time went on, our photography was improving and I was also seeing entertainment in my experiments in writing. Our frequent hiking/camping trips were being enhanced by the dimension of reporting our trips and people were enjoying the tales. Time went on; we looked back, looked around and looked forward. We saw memories, more fun and good living.

At this point, we have no plans to discontinue what we are doing here. As of this summer solstice, I have a half of a year of “in progress” articles. During 2022, we have had some summer trip plans stifled by family matters, but hopefully, there will be another road trip before the end of the summer season. There always is a yet to be done bucket list to fulfill. The bucket seems to be under a leaky dripping faucet of dreams and places to thrive in.

I have been readying a clothing optional Air B&B and reviving the Tucson sweat community, as part of my retirement move. These projects, at times during the last year, have made a weekly post difficult. I don’t want the responsibilities to get into the way of the fun and consequent quality of what is presented here. Yup, this ain’t the Sunday Times, nor is it a job.

Things have pretty much worked themselves out and I am very grateful to the readers.

So, Happy Birthday TFRN. Here’s to the coming year.

As you may recall, I’ve followed your “stuff” since the 90’s. Climbing mountains, and many many outings. I turned 80 this year. I’ve lived vicariously through you on many travels.
So I’d like to to thank you for my “travels.”
I’ve been Fortrollen for a few years now. I can’t remember what I referred to myself before that.(not important)
    But………THANKS

Thank you for your continued reporting. They have provided some inspiration. Please post about the Air B&B when it is ready. The wife and I might be interested in visiting Tucson.

    • I’ll probably have it rolled out in the Fall after our road trip.

I’m making an extra 600 square feet of usable space by enclosing a porch, I added a window and now that will need paint, matching texture,…. The garden is growing slower with the longer heat and dry spell this spring…it’s comin’.

I will do a story on it, when the time comes and you will be of course welcomed. Thank-you for encouraging me.
